Our Family Resource Center helps so many families and students within our community. They have a problem and need your help! Their shelves are almost totally empty. If their shelves are bare, they cannot help those in need. Please consider providing any amount of non-perishable food items to the FRC. While you are out this weekend, pick up a couple extra cans or boxes of those staples or even laundry detergent. You may drop them off at the FRC or contact April Couch at ext. 2056 or email April.couch@hck12.net for more information.

Amazing Shake Family Night
Tuesday, February 11, 6:00 - 7:00 PM
@ 5/6th Gym
This will be a fun night for students and parents to learn more about the upcoming Amazing Shake competition in which all students at CHMS will participate. Former Amazing Shake winners Bryce Calhoun and Lola Morgan will give tips toward being a winner! We will have snacks along with fun activities which will include learning and building social skills such as:
Giving a good handshake
Keeping eye contact
Introducing yourself and others
Making small-talk and engaging in conversation
There will be scripts available to help everyone participate, so this should be a fun, low-pressure night to get to know other families at CHMS while brushing up on our social skills. We would love to have lots of students from the upper grades come out to participate and coach our younger students! If you have questions, feel free to email sherry.price@hck12.net
Hope to see you there!
