Students must have a completed and signed physical packet (available in the school office) on April 16th in order to be seen. Please note that all sports physicals must be dated after April 15th to be valid for the 2026–2027 school year.
If you choose to have your child’s physical completed by your own doctor, it must also be done after April 15th.
Thank you!

Progress towards readiness begins at birth and is influenced by families and friends, early care and education providers, and the community.
A ready child is prepared physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. This means that each child enters school ready to participate in and benefit from early learning experiences that best promote the child’s success so that they are eager and excited to learn.
If you have any questions, please contact the Elementary Supervisor, Hope Malone at 423.272.7629 EXT 2006

I hope you are doing well!
As we work to inspire our current students and help them visualize their future paths, we are creating a "Career Alumni Wall" in the hallway. Our goal is to bridge the gap between middle school and the professional world by highlighting the diverse journeys of former students like you.
Your experience would be a powerful tool for our students to see what is possible. Would you be willing to share a few insights about your career? We have kept the questions brief so it only takes a few minutes of your time:
· Your Current Role: What is your job title and what do you do on a typical day?
· Post High School Education /Training: Where did you go to college or technical school?
· The Middle School Connection: What is one skill you learned in school (academic or social) that you actually use in your job today?
· A Piece of Advice: What is one thing you wish you knew when you were thirteen?
· Favorite Memory: Do you have a favorite teacher, subject, or club memory from your time here? If you are interested, please reply to vicki.britton@hck12.net or brittonv@mail.etsu.edu with your answers and attach a photo of yourself(if you would like)—either a professional headshot or a photo of you "in action" at your workplace.
We would love to showcase your success and show our middle schooler the many directions their hard work can take them. Thank you for considering this and for being such a great example for our school community.
Best regards,
Vicki Britton
