State Testing Reminder
Dear Parents & Students,
State testing will begin Monday morning, and we want everyone set up for success!
🕖 School starts at 7:45 AM — please make sure students arrive on time.
🚪 Doors open at 7:15 AM, and breakfast is served until 7:40 AM.
⛔ Once testing begins, students will not be able to enter late or leave during testing.
We encourage all students to get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast so they’re ready to do their best.
Students — don’t stress! Just take your time and give it your best effort. We believe in you! 💙

Well… turns out some of our teachers make excellent human coloring books! Tattoo a Teacher was a hit! The kids had a blast, the teachers survived (barely 😉), and we raised money while making some unforgettable memories. That’s a win all around!

To help everything run smoothly, we ask that there be no early student pickups after 1:00 PM. It is extremely difficult to pause the assembly to retrieve students once the games are underway, and we want all students to fully enjoy the experience without interruptions.

Attn Band Parents:
Our pizza kits are scheduled to be delivered TODAY at 11 AM. Please pick up your kits at the 7/8 band room (Room 162) after school today. We CANNOT hold them in our freezer, so any orders not picked up will have to be thrown away.
7/8 band students may take theirs home after rehearsal ends at 4:30.

This is a friendly reminder that Church Hill Primary Care will be on campus on April 16 to provide student physicals.
Please note that parents/guardians are not required to be present during the physical. However, a completed and signed physical packet is required in order for your student to be seen.
There is no charge for the physical.
Also, please remember that students must have a physical dated after April 15, 2026, to be eligible to try out for any sports.

After-school band rehearsal today from 3:00-4:30pm for 8th grade band members and select 7th grade band members. On Wednesday we have after-school rehearsal from 3:00-4:30pm for 7th and 8th grade band combined.
Please note that these are required in preparation for concert festival on April 24th and our spring concert on May 7th.

The CHMS 2026 Sports Banquet will be held on May 15, 2026 at the Church Hill VFW (261 Silver Lake Rd). The banquet will run from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with awards beginning at approximately 8:00 PM.
Tickets are $20 each. All 7th and 8th grade students are eligible to attend, as well as any 6th grade students who participated in sports this year. Parents of athletes are welcome to attend the awards ceremony beginning around 8:00 PM.
Ticket sales for students will begin on Friday, April 17th.
We look forward to celebrating our student-athletes!

If you have a daughter who will be an incoming 9th grader for the 26/27 school year and is interested in playing girls soccer, there will be a parent/player information meeting on Thursday, April 16th at 5:00 PM in Room 114 at VHS.
Just a reminder that sports physicals are required for any student planning to participate in sports at CHMS. Church Hill Primary Care will be at CHMS on April 16th during the school day to provide free sports physicals.
