🏈🐾 Game Day at CHMS! 🐾🏈
Tonight’s football game will feature a designated student section called “The Den!” 🎉
👉 Tonight’s theme: BLACKOUT! Wear your black gear, bring your Panther spirit, and let’s fill The Den with energy and noise!
We’d love to see some creative signs made by our students waving high in the stands tonight. 💛💙
Let’s show our Panthers what true school spirit looks like and we hope to see you at the game! 🐾

Attendance in early grades builds a foundation for students in later grades. Students gain positive habits, strong academic foundations, and confidence to succeed throughout school. Research shows a direct correlation to chronic absenteeism and reading levels in 3rd grade!

🎨🖐️ Stepping Back in Time in World History! 🐘🔥
Our 6th grade World History students had the chance to experience what it might have been like for early humans creating cave paintings. Using simple tools and limited light, students discovered just how powerful these images of animals and people were for storytelling, teaching, and even survival.
Through this activity, students learned that cave art wasn’t just decoration—it was an early way to communicate, share ideas, and pass down knowledge about hunting, traditions, and daily life.
By putting themselves in the shoes of early humans, students gained a deeper understanding of the creativity, intelligence, and resilience of our earliest ancestors. 💡🌍
Hands-on learning like this helps history come alive—and shows why the past is so important to understanding the world we live in today.
