This was our second choir rehearsal. Students sang, played music games, danced, and brainstormed the goals they have as a school community group! Some goal highlights are singing at nursing homes, hospitals, elementary schools, and school events like sports games and pep rallies. The students emphasized that they want to be kind and spread hope and joy in their community. -Mrs. Cash, 5/6 Campus Choir Director

Today, Mrs. Drinnon's 6th graders stepped out of the textbook and into history. 🇺🇸 Students moved from station to station throughout the hallway, reading firsthand accounts, examining photographs and information, and learning about the events and people connected to September 11, 2001. They worked together to record what they learned and better understand a day that happened long before they were born—but one our nation will never forget. We learn. We remember. We honor. 🇺🇸❤️

The House of Isibindi couldn't wait to share photos from today's den meeting. Students learned what Isibindi means—courage—as well as how our House System works. They also had lots of fun practicing our cheers and chants!
