Make plans to attend the 7/8 Christmas Concert!

Wear black on Friday, December 5th in support of the House of Altruismo!

Wow! Time flies! We've already completed half of the school year with 90 days! Congratulations to students who have missed fewer than 4 days – that’s less than 5% of the school year! You're setting yourself up for success! Positive attendance builds strong academic foundations, boosts confidence, and develops valuable habits that will benefit you throughout life.

December Perfect Attendance Drawing!
Students and parents, we’re excited to announce our December Perfect Attendance Challenge!
To be entered into the drawing, students must have perfect attendance from December 1–December 19. That means no tardies and no early checkouts—you must be present all day, every day to qualify.
We will have one winner per grade, and each winner will receive a $50 gift card!
Let’s finish 2025 strong and show up, shine bright, and you might just win!
Starting next week, we’re ringing in December with our annual dress-up days! Join in the fun, show your school spirit, and let’s make this season bright!

The CHMS Boys and Girls Basketball Teams want to give a huge shoutout to all of their sponsors! These sponsors have made it possible for all students to attend home basketball games this season for free!

Mr. Hagood's Social Studies classes took their skills to a higher level this week as students debated over important issues in US History!

Today we're giving a huge shout-out to our very own superintendent, Matt Hixson! He's a true superhero for our schools, leading with dedication and a clear vision for our students' futures. We're so grateful for his incredible leadership! #HCS #SuperheroSuperintendent

Superintendent Appreciation Day!
In honor of Hawkins County School Superintendent Matt Hixson, the Amistad House hosted a food drive and collected nonperishable items for the Church Hill Food Pantry.
Today, Mr. Hixson stopped by to meet with our Amistad Community Outreach Team, who presented him with a fabulous cake made by our very own Mrs. Patty and a fun superhero-themed picture!
This year’s Superintendent Appreciation Day theme was “Superheroes,” and we couldn’t agree more! Mr. Hixson goes above and beyond to support our schools. We are truly thankful for his leadership, dedication, and all he does for our students and staff every day!
