Today marked the final day of our CHMS Summer Learning Camp, and what a wonderful way to celebrate! Our students enjoyed a delicious meal at The Kitchen at Grave Meadows before heading to Barnes & Noble for a special behind-the-scenes tour.
Students had the opportunity to learn how a bookstore operates, and select a few books to take home so they can continue their reading adventures throughout the summer.
Upon their return to school, students were able to continue their celebration and we had drawing for prizes for each student to take home with them to enjoy.
A huge thank you to Hawkins County Schools for providing this incredible opportunity for our students and to First Baptist Church in Church Hill for their donation to support our students and provide weekly treats and goodies for our students.
We have truly enjoyed having these students this summer. Their hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication have made this year’s Summer Learning Camp a tremendous success!
We wish all of our students and families a safe, restful, and enjoyable remainder of the summer break.
💙💛 We look forward to welcoming everyone back in August! 💙💛
